003 Light – 7/30/09

At times when love lies underground
In places hope is rarely found
There shines a Light upon the land
Which clears the mind and takes your hand

But though this sacred Light appears
It does so ev’ry many years
I’ve witnessed in my younger days
What you, my son, will in your gray’st

Upon the Earth you’ll all stand still
As glowing tail caresses hill,
As Light giveth its routine “hi,”
As human race looks past the sky

You’ll wonder, “why do i exist?”
And soon enough you’ll have a list
Of things you’ve always thought about
But never thought you would seek out

So when, young man, you see this Light,
Allow it; let yoursoul take flight
You’ve only once to see, my child,
This universe’s wildest wild
